I know this topic come up every so often, and I have found another one. Awww, jeez, I've bought spiders from scarier looking dudes than that. One of my Fiats was bought from a guy that had nothing in his apartment other than answering machines and fax machines. No furniture, no nothing, just tons of telecommunications equipment. Wonder what that was about?

But, the price was right, so I bought the spider. I asked no questions, and the seller gave no answers.

I've owned a lot of Fiats, and I've owned several British cars, including Triumphs and MGs and my current Jag XJ6, and I've worked with many Brits and many Italians. The British cars are, well, British in their behavior, and the Fiats are, well, Italian in nature. Nothing right or wrong here, just differences in the approach. Both are endearing, but for different reasons.

And lest you think that I only enjoy cars from "across the pond", my other car (truck) is a '69 Chevy C-10 pickup. It has its own set of charms, of course.
