Best of France and Italy

Post by So Cal Mark »

Save the date; November 2nd, 2008, Sunday at Woodley Park in Van Nuys. This is the largest West Coast gathering of Fiats, so start getting your cars ready! This is a must-see event and it is a non-judged gathering. Just show up with anything, condition doesn't matter. We want to organize a Fiat area bbq and pot luck lunch, details will follow.
Here is the link to the event site;

Last year I brought the BBQ and grilled sausage and pepper's so our group didn't have to stand in the long lines. I will be doing the same again this year so I'm inviting you all to join our table and create our own line :mrgreen:

Absolutely! I'll have everything including plates, utensils, napkins, etc....last year I forgot the condiments in the fridge so we had to steal from the vendors :lol:

Bring whatever you would like to share with everyone :wink:

I'll be bringing my portable BBQ, some chicken or burger, and of course, Ron Luxmore's World Famous Potato Salad!
I got my Spider last October, but I didn't hear about Best of France and Italy until too late. I've been looking forward to this all year.

Similar to last year. There will be a large contingent from the FIat America group arriving at BFI (Best of . . . , oh you know), as part of an extended tour down from the Bay area. Following the show on Sunday, I'll be joining them on part of their tour back northward, with a stop overnight (Sunday) at some cabins in near Sequoia Park, and maybe another stop in Yosemite on Monday night before heading back down to LA area. Just letting you know now in case anyone is interested to join the fun, so you can block out the dates. I'll be feeding you more info later when it's available.

It was a great ride last year. I recommend it highly! If interested, let me know so I can pass the word along to the planners.
