Hi at all,
we are proud to present a new entry page for the worldwide Spider registry with all known and documented classic Fiat 124 Spider at our site fiatspider.de.
The new starting page in English introduces the purpose of the registry and possibilities to search through the database.
All various locations at our website with registry relevant informations are listed by link:
- Register (former named registry) – Searchable Database
- Register a Spider – form sheet to fill out
- Forum – Sub forum for the registry with FAQ etc
- Statistic – quarterly published statistics about spider types and regions (continents and nations) etc.
All this you will find at:
https://www.fiatspider.de/worldwide-spider-register
We hope, you will be part of this worldwide registry with more than 15,000 cars.
Ciao, Ralf

Re: Worldwide Spider registry 2.0
Hi I think I registered, difficult to tell because keep having to translate pages. Also looked in the "register" and found that someone had already put my car there, said "found on facebook 2019." Anyway doesn't matter, but how did they get my VIN number? I do not know how to tell date of manufacture or first registration. It seems like all the cars in the register are for sale? Or most of them? I had a hard time figuring it all out. Hope it helps, anyway.

sorry for the uncomplete translation! The club website is just completely in german but I have fought sucessfully for english for the register sub pages! The FAQ will be completely in both languages, still much help to come!
You found your car already listed?! Some friends and I are looking through all the social media for new cars. So engine bay pictures or classified ads may help to get some new cars by dicovering the chassis numbers or VINs. By identifying the last 7 digits I can rebuild the complete VIN (17-digits). Some times my paint program must help to pimp the contrast etc. to read the chassisno.
US cars are rarely registered by the owner. So US cars are mainly discovered by for-sale ads, sorry to say. Ebay, hemmings, craigslist, facebook marketplace etc. are our sources.
It would be great to get your additions to the actual register entry of your car. Just fill out the form and i will get the data to update your database entry. Feel free to fill out here:
https://www.fiatspider.de/register/enter
Or just send an email with all the data to: fahrzeugregister ( a t ) fiatspider.de
Bye, Ralf

Ralf,
How do we modify an existing entry? Do we need to submit a new form or can we edit the existing?
cheers
