Decided to get to the cancer that's been plaguing my car... That erratic wiring. The Previous owner got the car going which is great but in the mean time he cut corners on the wiring as a result there's some pretty sketchy stuff in there, but anyways his temporary fix is as I said was temporary and now there's all manor of crazy things going on. I've got everything from the rear cleaned up and organized and I've been picking away at the dash little by little but as it is with these old car a-lot of the connectors are broken on one side or the entire connector is busted - anyways does any one know where I can buy connectors like this I don't want to get new ones I want to keep it all uniform and I'm not ready to replace all of the connectors yet and I don't need more want to replace the entire harness.
Then to my next question I want to make a new convertible soft top for my car I couldn't find anyone who made the color for the style I want for the car so I'm planning on doing it my self but being in I've never done something of this nature before I was wondering if anyone had any tips or things to remember when doing this, along with a pattern I could reference. I can't make one from the original soft top, cause the car didn't have it when I got it. I'm not too worried about making it, I just don't want to be guessing on the measurements or forgetting to do something. Help would be much appreciated.
