tranny fill plug removal

Post by xaplax101 »

tranny hex plug was totally stripped out
cleaned with acetone
glued a 9/16ths nut coupler in there with JB Weld
Let it cure for 2 days
and the bolt came right out
p.s.
there is a lot of mention on this forum that the bolt is 17mm
Mine is 15mm which is why I used a 9/16ths nut coupler

is there some way to attach photos to these posts?

Maybe a duplicate Link in FAQ could be added.

Suspect you did not have the original plug. Any trouble threading the new plug?
