Vacuum Reservoir Tank Location?

Hey all, I had started a thread here trying to chase down a braking boost problem on a 1980 spider:

Someone in the thread mentioned checking the condition of the "vacuum reservoir tank'. Can someone point me to where that would be installed on the car? Thanks-

There is not tank on the Fiat.
The boost is direct.... Intake - valve on booster - into booster

The last post you made about the issue of not grabbing once the engine is engaged is odd. I would verify a some things.
1. Boost valve only blows through 1 way
- How to test - pull it off and blow on both ends. Air should only pass one way. And they can only be installed one way so if air is only going one way it is probably fine.
2. Check the rod adjustment on the booster to the master cylinder to make sure it is not touching nor is it too far away. These rods are NOT adjusted at the factory (because that would be impossible).
3. How were the brakes bled out. I see lots of issue when people use the pressure bleed systems. Best for Fiats is to use the old school pedal pump method.
4. When the brakes are bled the rear axle is lift and NOT the rear body.
5. Did you replace ALL the hoses.
- Sometimes hoses break down on the inside (ok so actually this happens constantly). If this is going on you can develop a "one-way valve" inside the hose!

The brakes are pretty simple and if all these things check off then nothing should cause your issue.
