Looking for advice on pros/cons of removing the under dash A/C components on my 83 Spider. Purchased car last year and A/C did not work when purchased and I don't plan on using it in the future. Seems like extraneous weight to be carrying around.
Also, plan of attack is to disconnect the compressor line at the compressor, and then pulling the line (w/ angled metal attachment and nut) out through the firewall. In other words, want to do the operation so it can reinstalled or used in future if plans change.
Anyone have experience with this? Appreciate any inputs/comments.
Cheers
Waldo
