Okay, so this question won't have an easy or certain answer. But I'll ask anyways.
Backstory: My 81 Spider 2000 has been sitting for 5-6 years, I don't remember the last day I had her running. At the time I was getting some weird fuel delivery problems. You know when you're in first and you hit the gas and let off you can get the car jerking pretty well? It was doing that, so I replaced the fuel filter afraid I'd maybe sucked some rust out of the tank. No fix, so I pulled the tank and was getting ready to replace the injectors. And then, DIVORCE.
Now: I'm planning to replace the entire fuel delivery system, tank ---> injectors, and I'd thought about buying the rebuild kit from, well you know, but after reading some other posts regarding this subject may not need to do it. I don't wrench but I would attempt to tackle some of the smaller fixes.
What are the enthusiasts opinions on what would be the best way to get her running again. Less money to get her running, more to play with in other areas. I plan to start on a fairly major overhaul this spring and am working on a budget and can't begin to guess at the cost of labor for jobs requiring mechanical knowledge.
Thanks in advance. Sorry about the long post.

Re: Rebuild Recomendations
Getting the injectors serviced is not so hard. They are not too hard to remove, 16.00 an injector.or so.
