toggle switch?

My '85 has a toggle switch on the top of the steering column. I have a lighting problem that seems to be related to it, but I don't know what the 3 positions of the switch operate. Can someone tell me? Thanks.

In my Pininfarina -84, 3 positions are: off - parking lights on - off. I dont know why there is 3 positions

Thanks Makita, only the Italians would come up with a switch that has 2 off positions I was hoping it had some relevance to the other lights as well, but apparantly not
