Seat belt removal

I have a 75 spider and am wondering how to get the seat belt out. The female side had a black metal like cover at the bottom that I cannot seem to pry off to reveal a bolt. Do I just keep trying with a large screwdriver or does someone have a secret? The belt part comes off easy. I am trying to replace them.
