My son was wanting his first car. We already had a 3000gt for him which he wanted real bad. But the insurance was not going to let that happen. So after checking insurance rates for a 16 year old in florida a mazda miata was one of the cheapest cars we could find. He reluctantly agreed to drive one of those as his first car. So we were off to find a car. We looked at many cars most were a POS that were in his price range (2500.00). On the way to the last one we saw a spider on the side of the road. No for sale sign or anything, just a spider sitting on the side of the remote country road. We decided to take the scenic route. This was the only way we even ran across this car.

1977 spider 60k miles. very original! floorboards are perfect but there is body rust. So for 1500.00 it was his car.

he now has 1000.00 to spent to make it roadworthy.

In all my years working on fiats i have never seen a gas tank in this poor shape. It crumbled with a touch, The paint was the only thing keeping the structure.
