Motor install nearing complete. Per advice from several, I have deleted the catalytic and relocated the exhaust inboard // to driveshaft. I bought the 2" tailpipe/muffler and resonator pipe from autoricambi. I wonder why the pipe zigzags back to the resonator instead of just running straight. I cut off the zigs and welded a straight section with a 45 at rear and a 90 at front and clamped it to a 90 coming welded to exhaust flange. Clearance is tight but looks good. Heat shields will be tested. (I found the one that guards the right motor mount).
Does anyone know where to tie in distributor's vac advance on a turbo? Should it tie into the carbon canister downstream of the check valve?
