Hi,
I have older twin IDF40's on my 1756 Spider. It has the emulsion tubes low set at the top plates of the carbies. I notice plenty of photos of the newer models, with the top of the tubes very highly set above the top plate. Is there any particular reason for this? Does it help with air intake through the top of the screw head? If there is an advantage, can these be used on the early model Webers?
Thanks
