It Flell Into My Tool Bag. Who Mfg It???

Post by Elwood »

This header lept off an 1800 and fell into my tool bag a while back and I have not been able to positively identify the manufacturer.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Also, what process should I use to clean it up?
Media blast and paint with header paint?
Media blast and power coat?
Just wrap it with asbestos?

don't waste a lot of money on it; that design uses primary tubes that are too short to create any low or mid range torque. The tubes are only welded on one side and my guess it uses 18 gauge tubing, neither which will last very long

i am not at all impressed with painting exhaust with "header" paint either. less than a full season of chaulkless color is to be expected, unless you don't actually get the header hot.

Looks like a Paeco piece of crap. Bad design and the downpipe will not seal.
