Have an 84 Pinnafarina Azzura. It is having problems getting fuel for the car to run properly.. The rail with the attached injectors are crimp fitted. Does anyone know of someone who can rebuild these parts?? I'm stuck at this time, with a nice car that was only produced a couple years as fuel injected.
Or was this same engine used by Fiat or another MFG in a different vehiclle also.
Would not think the totaly new design was scrapped forever.
Thanks.

obsolete Azzura fuel injectors and rail?
Buy cars I wanted but then couldn’t afford. Just love a good car.

cut the crimps off and use FI hose with clamps. The injectors are available in the aftermarket. I have them in my web store as do most of the other Fiat vendors

In a weekend you can replace all of your old fuel lines: one day in the engine compartment and another day replacing the lines from the tank to the pump and vapor canister. If your car is still using it's 30+ year old fuel lines, then it's way overdue anyway.
Search this site for some tips if you like, but replacing the lines will not only make your car safer but also help rid it of that nasty gasoline smell that many old Spiders seem to have.

Thanks for the help. The crimps have to go and clamp new injector hoses on them.. No way to reproduce that method.
Should have it up and running soon hopefully.

Actually, as long as you buy the right diameter fuel hose, you can reuse those 'crimps' (aka Bosch collar locks). I reused mine when I replaced all of my fuel lines. But, it's just as easy to go to fuel injection hose clamps, so the choice is yours.
If you want to preserve the collar locks, you'll have to use an Exacto knife to split the fuel hose longitudinally to get the hoses loose from the rail, but once you've done the first one it's pretty easy.

Thanks. All good advise. If I drop the tank, sending units available. May as well go through the complete fuel system and replace everything. Once it's mechanically sound,,go from there. This is my only FI Fiat. It has a more refined look to it. Having a Pinnafarina badged car means something to me. When you look historically of this man and companies impact to the Italian sports car worlld, it''s an honor to own one.
