are 1800 cam the same as 2000?

I trashed my 2000 cams but have a nice set of 1800. Will they work? Also how should I secure the cam box so I can unscrew the cam pulley bolt?

A chain wrench applied around the pulley, protected by an old timing belt, will do the trick to get the cam pulley bolt off.

An impact wrench to go along with the chain wrench will really make it easy.

1800 and 2L cams are totally interchangeable.

Depends on if you require the drive gear for a cambox mounted distributor.

1800 cams have a drive gear on the exhaust, just as the 2L cams do
