I'm working on a 74 that has the mechanical carb linkage. It was bucking like crazy on launch. The motor mounts were really shot, so I changed the motor mounts and the transmission mount. Bucking is really minimized, but now I have very slight rubbing from the steering idler arm and the exhaust. The transmission mount is the AR unit, and was taller than the one I took out. Anyone run into this issue before?

There's two mounts depending on year. one is about half inch taller than the other. I think 79 was the year they changed.
