I am restoring a 1972 Spider and my windshield frame has some rust issues, will a later model frame fit on my 72 and will my glass fit in a later model frame?

i believe the top bow is a bit different

So does that mean the glass wont fit?
Will the soft top mate up properly ?

yes it wont line up on top and it wont fit in your frame
