AR Wind Deflector

I'm going to install the AR wind deflector.
The instructions that came with it were for an MX-5. It is obvious where the brackets attach? Anyone have a picture? Here's my convertible linkages.
And here's the brackets.
Do I need to take off the rear side panels to figure out where it goes?

I think you do have to take the interior rear panels off to install the mounting brackets. Look for a mounting point close to the back of the headrests. The windscreen should not be effected by raising or lowering the convertible top, so look for the mounting point that would allow for this.
If you need pictures I can take some tomorrow morning.

Thanks guys. I'll email AR and get the pics. Then I'll try to post a few pictures once I'm done. My wife can't wait!

My wife declared that same deflector "the best upgrade yet."
I'm guessing that your wife will love it too.

It's a Miata wind deflector made by Raceland, with some fiat specific custom made mounts ... which I assume AR now sells
I have the same part (kit prior to AR selling it) and it works awesome ... the wind noise suppression and deflection is ridiculously good.

Installed the brackets. The old bolts broke when I tried to remove but that's not surprising. I installed the brackets and they are pretty close to the top of the seat when it is all the way back (even touching on the passenger side). Hopefully I can adjust them a bit to ensure I can put the seat all the way back and the bracket won't rub on the seat. A while back I did have to put in new seat rails on the passenger side. Maybe this made them slightly higher.
I'll try to post a few pictures when I'm done.

You'll like the results of your efforts. Patty thought the deflector was best improvement (until we took the Koni's over the washboards!). Amazing how something so simple can make such a big difference.

Nick,
If nobody does today I'll post tonight. Or send me your email (private message) and I'll forward the email Csaba sent to me with good pics.

I would hope that the kit came with good pics and instructions.. Looking to buy the same kit and would hope that it would come with good intentions.

Nope. But a quick email to Csaba and a few pics from him later it was easy. I'll try to remember to post the pics tonight.

I've got the same kit and would also be happy to post pictures. If I don't see any from rjkoop tonight I'll post a few when I get home.
Enough people have asked about this lately that it seems like a good idea to get some general reference pics online for anyone looking to install this or something similar.
