Update On Clutch Pedal Failure and question.

Hey all. So I pulled out the clutch pedal and noticed my forks where bent and where it separated. Hopefully, the new pedal will go in easier than me getting it out. I have an Autoracambi new model spring and wonder if I should just put the old spring in instead. The look so much different anyone have any opinion.

Same thing happened to me in the same way. I remember I stuck pennies in the clutch spring to keep it expanded for the re-install. Took a few attempts to get it just right. Re-install wasn't impossible but not something I would want to do everyday.

You bought a new spring, why not use it? May have more spring or at least a longer life than the old. As I recall the new spring is a simpler design. For some reason I had little difficulty putting it on.

Which spring? We sell the one by the transmission, not the one by the pedal.
