I tried to post this in the Events section but my computer kept locking up. Here's information on the car show in Winston-Salem held in September. I'd love for there to be more than just my Fiat sitting in the field. Hope you can join us:
Hello fellow auto enthusiasts;
I'll apologize up front for doing this as a mass mailing, but I'm trying to reach as many of you as possible.
I have included leaders and movers & shakers from American, British, German, Italian, Japanese & mulit-marque car clubs (i.e., AACA) from all over North Carolina.
We are promoting an event to be held in Winston-Salem in September. It will have the theme of Fine Automobiles, Wine & Art. And of course, there will be music and food.
Within the automobile category, we will have 1.) The invited and qualified Concours cars, 2.) The club cars and 3.) The supercars from sponsors.
I am contacting you specifically for your involvement with a certain marque or club and many of you with several different makes, models and clubs.
The plan is to supply each marque and/or club with a 10 x 10 tent at no cost to the club. They would all be lined up with the various cars in a group alongside and behind the tent. We want you to use this opportunity to promote your cars and your club. Show off yourselves with your specialty clothing, books, magazines, newsletters, model cars and of course the best and most unique cars from your club!
After the formal presentation of awards for the Concours cars, we will call forth each group to present a Best of Class to the one automobile of your group or club that you have chosen. Use this as a car show within a car show!
But that's only one of the three parts of the event. On Friday, anyone pre-registering can have a day at VIR (Virginia International Raceway) touring on the track or even try a faster pace. Saturday the show and Sunday a rally or tour thru the historic and scenic areas around Winston and ending up for some wine tasting and lunch at one of the fine wineries in our state. Cost for the weekend (excluding meals) is $20 for a car and driver. Additional persons are $10 each.
And finally, any of you that wish to be the Captain of your group to help us organize and get your cars and members out, will be granted a free weekend pass. Please respond back so that we will be able to stay in touch as the event and date progresses.
Below is a registration you can use or share with your club members.
Don't forget that our main goal is to make a large donation to the Outrageous Courageous Children's Program in the cancer ward at Brenner Children's Hospital at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital and have some fun doing it.

I will plan to attend and I do have a entry form.I will talk with you at FFO about some of the details.Maybe if I can attend that event you could bring your famous Spider to Atlantas Italian Car Day??? It would be nice to have a strong Fiat field to show up all those Ferraris ,Alfas ,and Lambos.

Denise,
I don't know if the one man FIAT club (OMFC) will fit in one 10x10 tent.
It would be cool to attend, will have to check the schedule. Good cause!

Brad, I'd be honored to share our club tent with you. I'll even buy you a t-shirt. The Sunday tour is a lot of fun and a day at VIR is always great. It would be grand to have more than one Fiat! Mine gets so lonely sitting there amongst the Alfas and Lancias.

Re: Calling all Fiat owners in the Southeast
I can put you guys in a Fiat if you show up. If you want to drive my other Spider, you have to be 5 ft tall or shorter (ask Alvon). If you want to drive the Devil X just keep the number to the tow truck handy.

Re: Calling all Fiat owners in the Southeast
I don't know what to say. the offer is pretty good. Do you have to preregister for just a person. I'll see once and thanks.

Re: Calling all Fiat owners in the Southeast
You don't have to preregister unless you're bringing a car. I really hope we get more Fiats this year.
