Thank you for the new interface of this site. Your efforts to maintain this site is very appreciated. We have come a long way since the days of difficult logins, spam and slow page loading. In turn this has developped into the best Fiat forum on the web.
Again, Thank you and Happy belated New Year!

Re: Thank you Evan
I would give anything to access those archives between 1997-2006, just to see how the track of thought has changed over the years. I have returned to some of the posts in 2006 and i have noticed that the respect (in terms of how we perform repairs) to these cars are highly distant from the standards as they are today.spidernut wrote:Yes...thanks to all who keep this site up and running. It's also obvious that in those days there were issues with purchasing quality parts as there were vendors whose credibility was very questionable.
Then there were the pre- internet days where every Fiat enthusiasist had to fend for himself and research for parts through magazine ads or by phone. There was little or no documentation on repair procedures to be shared unless you knew someone locally with the same type of car.
When you add a twist of mutual knowledge through FS.com and trustworthy vendors, the result is that we live in an era where these cars have become more dependable than ever.
Boy, times have changed.
