Continuing my scope of work for repairing my 75 Spider, I have found that the front crossmember has been welded to the left frame rail (as the vertical bolt attachments are gone. I have already ordered a new crossmember from Germany, but I am looking for any pictures of repairs that others have done to repair this front frame attachment area where the crossmember joins. I have done a significant amount of auto metal repair/replacement on other cars but don't want to recreate the process if successfully done before.
Suggestions appreciated.
