I recently purchased a 1972 "basket case"--many parts are removed and were supplied in boxes. The car has the early front and rear bumpers, but only two bumper over-riders were supplied. I can't figure out if these over-riders fit the front or the rear bumper--it seems they fit about the same.
Is there a difference between the front and rear bumper over-riders on a 1972?

There must be some difference as they have different part numbers. Here is the information I have. Don't know if these numbers are actually on the parts.
front drivers side 1903837
front passengers side 1903836
rear drivers side 1903841
rear passengers side 1903840

The parts listing at Midwest Bayless makes it seem that from 68 to 72 the front and rear sets were the same but criss crossed. Left Front also fits Right Rear and Right Front also fits Left Rear. There also appears to be an optional front bumper specific set from 70 to 72.
