Dash re-vinyl

I found a thread from 2007 wherein someone had recovered their dash with new vinyl but the pics were all gone. Too old a thread.

So has anyone done this since 2007? Using the new four-way stretch vinyl? I've got the vinyl and I have peeled the old off the dash foam. (And, no, it was not fun, not at all. I still have scars on my fingers from sharp bits of pointy dried vinyl.) It APPEARS that the 4-way vinyl will stretch well around the corners and all.

Anyone know about doing this?

Cheers.

Seen that one. Problem is that it does not have the twists and turns, the deep wrap under the front and towards the gauges, that our dashes have. He didn't even have to take his off! What I can't quite sort out is if, for sure with a lot of heat, I can keep the vinyl from bunching up. Just don't know what will happen when push come to shove. Or when smooth comes to rub.
