My 77 Spider's front brakes groan and vibrate when appled. I have high quality pads all round, but have done nothing with the fluid, is it the calipers and the associated bits that are causing this? I have a tube of Copperslip on hand to treat the back of the pads and fittings. A total change of fluid and bleeding is also on the cards.
Any advice?
Cheers

Re: Groaning/vibrating front brakes
This can also be from front wheel bearings that are in need of servicing. If the front wheel bearings are not serviced in time however once you do service them then the rotors may need to be turned to clean up the damage from uneven wear as the may end up making more noise when the bearings are adjusted properly and the hub is running true again.
Some mechanics just pacify this by playing with the tightness of the front wheel bearings until the noise goes away however that is not the right thing to do as its a temporary solution and a sign you probably need to find another mechanic.
