Northern California Shop?

Need some help...

Long time Fiat owner relocated from the east coast to SF bay area in need of a reputable shop. Although I have less time to wrench, the California weather allows for my 83' Spiderpinfarina to be a daily driver. Its been a rolling restoration since 1985 so I would even be interested in turning it over to someone to sort it all out completely.

Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to the SF area. Not sure from your post the extent of the work you need taken care of. I believe Andy S does complete restorations (search for him).

I did most of the mechanical work to my car, so I can't make recommendations.

If you need a hand, let me know.

+1 on WCM. Kelly got me going when I first got my Spider. I wouldn't know what I know today if Kelly hadn't helped me out.

In the south Bay Area, I heartily recommend Natale Lai...Natale's Auto Repair (natalesautorepair.com). Walk into his shop and you'll see dozens of Italian masterworks, Jags, MGs and more, both vintage and recent models. He totally gets Fiats.

I have the same question as the original poster. As wonderful as those references are, are there any votes for someone further south? I'm in Santa Cruz, making Napa impractical.

I didn't mention it in my earlier post, but Natale's Auto is in Campbell, just over the hill past Los Gatos right off of 17 at Camden
