Bent bolt for tensioner spring

Post by zachmac »

Cleanup some parts in the new bead blaster and look at this; the bolt that holds the lower tab of the tensioner spring is way bent!

Pretty sure it ain't supposed to be like this? Assume PO got heavy with the tightening or thought it was supposed to be some sort of eccentric adjuster? Gonna need a new one I think.

Holy crap! Just checked on a few vendor sites and they want like $38 for a new one!!! Anyone got a nice straight one used for sale? Dirty / surface rust is okay but need straight.
