Hair and Makeup
Here's Gina, ready for tomorrow's appointment at the salon. She's feeling a bit frumpy right now, but next time you see her, she'll be hubba-hubba
Re: Hair and Makeup
if you really want to appreciate an "after" pic, you gotta have the "before"

Is she getting a new color treatment? If so, what color is it going to be?

Remember the old Dinah Washington song; "What a difference a day makes"? How true.

Re: Hair and Makeup
it looks like you left the door handles on, why not remove them since everything else was taken off?

Great song; thanks for the compliments, guys.rlux4 wrote:Remember the old Dinah Washington song; "What a difference a day makes"? How true.

Door handle studs rusted and fragile, so left 'em on. Didn't remove wipers and washers, either. What, I gotta do everything around here?!
Watching a pro painter at work is kinda cool, but its something I would never want to try. The fumes alone are enough to discourage me. 95% of the work and money is in the prep anyway, which most of us can and will do.
Next week, I get to take sandpaper to a freshly painted car ... twice. That's going to be wierd and scary.

Re: Hair and Makeup
It will look nice once put back together. Is that a single stage paint or basecoat/clear? I always found it daunting to put sandpaper on a new paint job, but it really smooths it out and brings on the shine. As far as painting, it's gotta be easier than prepping one and those 3M masks really work well. I'll let you know this winter when I paint my very own for the first time. Lucky for me it only has to be a 20 footer.
