Chanhassen Cars and Coffee

For anyone in Minnesota or thereabouts, this Saturday, July 4 will be the monthly Cars and Coffee event in Chanhassen, MN. This is an event that occurs on the first Saturday of every month [May - Oct] and is open to the public. I think it runs from 8-11AM, but if you want to get your car inside the gate to show it off, plan to get there at 7AM or so. It is at the AutoMotorPlex in Chanhassen, which is a car condo community where folks have garage condos full of classic cars. There will be several hundred cars on display - it is a great event and is free to enter, either just to look around at the cars and garages or to display your own car. I will be there with my 1982 Fiat Spider 2000 and would love to see some more Fiat Spiders there! Check it out on their website at http://www.automotorplex.com. It is at 8200 Audubon Road in Chanhassen [just south of Highway 5].

I have been there but I could never get there early enough to show my rusty Spider. This month would not work anyway but maybe next month. Do you know about the anual "Wheels of Italy" show in Minneapolis?

Yes it does fill up early. I went to the Wheels of Italy event last year right after I bought my Spider. Planning to go again this year on Sept. 13. Hope to see you there.
