Top Gear Spider Episode

Post by garion »

Thanks to georgeramos, who found it on another site, saving me from more hours of uploading and rejection. THE LINK: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/k5G0ZyIDFwK0E3bOiIi

----------
Edit 1: The video is still uploading, but will be available at http://youtu.be/XSUCxncg09E. I'm currently 60% uploaded. It will probably finish sometime tonight after I hit the sack.

Edit 2: Apparently, the video is 'too long for unverified accounts'. I will try and figure out some other way of sharing, unless someone finds another stream.

Since the Top Gear Spider Episode has aired in the UK and not US, I have, well, acquired it.

Don't ask any questions, and I won't tell you any lies..

I have *not* watched it yet. I have shrunk the video somewhat to something reasonable (2G to 600M), and I'm uploading to youtube right now. It'll be the full episode, since I have no clue on video editing.

Once uploaded, I'll post the link here, in this thread. Right now, it looks to be 2-3 hours of upload time.

The spider looked pretty cool with the abarth treatment. Hammonds Flight was hilarious. I wish they'd shown them working on and fixing the issues but it was a good bit

At least they didn't put them in a demolition derby.

Thankfully mine has been substantially more reliable with far less garage time.

Am I spoiled by the old diesel just chugging along without any distributor with breaker points, fancy electronics, etc or what?

Maybe Clarkson will revisit this and do the cars justice in his new show like when they drove the Amalfi Coast.

Rubbish enjoyed by the masses. While not intellectually challenging, I enjoyed the show and will miss it. There is a place for the combination of middle age men acting out high school antics, cars and celebrities. There will be a replacement show that fills that niche. That is why the show was popular and spread around the world. The fact that Clarkson is a miserable man does not take change the entertainment value of the show.
Buon giro a tutti! - enjoy the ride!

I'm glad I got to see the Spider episode.

I'm going to miss the show.

Hammond on the airplane was histerical.

Okish in my view. But thanks for the link.

Didn't seem lika a final cut version though. No conclusions re cars or hysterical air plane stunt.

And little negative on reasonably priced classics.

So in all, a grade 4 out of 10. At most.
