How to position the lowering springs

I would like to know how am I suppose to position the progressive lowering springs. What I mean by that is the tight coils are suppose to go on the UP position or the LOW ? I hope some of you understand my question... :shock:

doesn't matter, but I like the look of the closer coils on the bottom

In my case, I got springs from AR, and they were stamped with their logo.. I made sure the logos were 'readable'..

Well, most instruction say that the tighter coils are supposed to be on top, but many people have told they are working OK with tighter coils down, so I believe you can install them either way. I put them with tighter coils up.

It should not matter, but I had one customer that said they made noise with the coils toward the top, so now I tell people to put them toward the bottom.
