Ball Joint torque?

Post by njoconnor »

Haynes sez 45 ft/lbs, Richard Ridge sez 72 in his excellent control arm FAQ. A forum search was mixed. What's the current recc for torqueing down those 22mm nylocks? Fortunately, I can just get the socket and t-wrench in place without u joints, etc.

Thanks

72 ft-lb won't hurt it.
