Hi all. What is the correct torque setting for head bolts ? Also, which shop manual gives correct torque figures in general ? I am working out of two shop manuals Brooklands and Haynes and they differ in torque settings.
Thanks for any help.

Re: torque settings for head
Likely all manuals have some errors. 61 ft-lb is correct for the head. I torque them in 3 sequences, 20, 40, and 61.
Be sure the threads are cleaned and lubed.
