Re: Csaba and Ramzi
I think everyone in Texas is seeing some record rainfall and flooding. While the Hill country is stunning making for some great rides in our Spiders, it is also know as flash flood alley because of the unique topography. Similar rains in 98 and in 04 created issues. As I recall the office is in Colleyville just a few miles from the airport and Grapevine lake. The lake and man made with a dam on the higher ground level end of town so hopefully they are in good shape.
The little town of Wimberley, TX where we would often meet up for hill country rides has been decimated.

Buon giro a tutti! - enjoy the ride!

We are not exactly dry, but we've been fortunate to not have the flooding that happened further south. Yes, the flooding in Winberley where trees and houses were taken away by the water is right where we meet for our bi-annual tours. I hope that town can recover even if it will never look the same.

Thanks for checking in!
Ironically, I did have a flood. At the end of last week a pipe in the foundation of my house started leaking... And we were with out water until we could get a plumber out to re-route our water supply. Sort of that old "water, water everywhere but not a drop to drink" thing I suppose.
It certainly has not comparison to those who live to the south. Those poor folks were hit pretty hard by flooding.
