16 Valve Head, is that an option?

Does anyone know if there is a 16v head that works with the spider's 1995cc engine? I know the 131 Abarth has it, but I have never seen a 124 with one.

Late model Fiat production 16 valve from Delta / Thema etc will fit the block, reversed inlet/exhaust, and again needs lots of bespoke parts to make it fit an 124 engine bay ... lots of good fitment details on http://www.turbo124.com/forum ...just search, but again not a cheap exercise or one for the faint hearted. New original heads with valves and springs are under 1k...but minus cams, cam spray bars, cam cover...a good set of aftermarket cams is over 1k alone.

Ha! I might as well buy a 131 Abarth for that kind of money. Still not entirely out of the question though, if I was to go through with getting a 16v head i would probably have to get a doghead tranny and a limited slip as well
