So I've been wondering why my DFEV has been idling inconsistent since I got the car... This weekend, I tore it down (well, took it off the car, and removed the top cover..).. I started going through the various jets... And figured out that my idle jets were swapped! I had the 50 in the main, and the 60 in the secondary... Its been like that since I bought the car.. So I made sure everything was set like in one of Brad's docs: http://www.artigue.com/fiatcontent/carbs/3236_DFEV.pdf
Now I need to retune it all... I started it up without tuning, and my (cold/choke) idle went to like 3k..
Ah the joys of Fiats and PO's. Hopefully I can get the choke and idle to be somewhat consistent!
