Indentifying original color

Post by Leesfer »

I am trying to figure out the exact original color of my car, does anyone know where the color of the car is labeled?

And also does anyone happen to have a list of all the colors the fiats came in?

I think it was in the trunk on your car

Was it on the trunk lid? There is a place where a sticker used to be... I hope that is not what is missing :(

But there are parts of the car where the original color still shows, its possible for the paintshop to match no doubt

On the early cars they stamped the paint code on the identification tag mounted on the firewall. Most automotive paint stores would have a book with the color swatches.

When I click the link, the page says "Sorry - the translations will follow soon "

Perhaps I need a fiatspider.de account?

you can click on the German flag... I think most of the stuff you need will be written in english. If not you can use a web translator.

Thanks much!

Strange though, my color doesn't match any of those...

What I can see of the original looks a lot like this car:
