Parts Cross Reference List

Mirafiori has a parts substitution list. It is good, but certainly not comprehensive. I would like to put together a different kind of parts list for our Spiders. Here's they type of stuff I'm looking for. Please post here if you have the necessary information:

All need sources (excluding Ebay or existing Fiat parts vendors such as IAP, Autoricambi, Vick's, Allison's Auto, Midwest-Bayless, etc), sizes, parts numbers, etc. I will pull info from the vendor sites as needed.

- Proper LED substitutions for interior lights
- Proper LED substitutions for exterior lights
- Headlight substitutions
- Wheel substitutions and proper (same diameter) tire sizes
- Carpet style that matches the factory carpet (not pre-made carpet kits), amount needed
- Carpet pad, amount needed
- Heat barriers, amount needed
- Emissions component replacements (modern part numbers)
- Filters (oil, air, fuel)
- Modified intakes using off-the-shelf products
- Upholstery kit sources
- Convertible top sources
- Mirror swaps and tech tips how to repair or install them
- Cables, hoses, belts, etc. that can replace the stock ones with or without minor modifications
- Retrofit modifications such as the Nissan cup holder that fits the center dash on the Spider with minor mods
- Under-dash lights that fit easily in the Spider
- Custom stuff such as the illuminated sill plates for the doors, custom emblems, logos, etc.
- etc.

Again, I don't need anything from the Fiat vendors....I'm looking for the other stuff. When done, I'll share the document with anyone who wants it.

Other than the Mirafiori list, I didn't see anything of real value to that thread.

maybe I should start selling that sort of thing. didn't know you young people wanted that. us old people never even thought about this kind of stuff.
