race/autocross clutch

We now have 6 puck clutch discs in stock along with a performance pressure plate. The disc is a custom made part with a much beefier hub, steel center piece and springs along with the 6 pucks for increased friction. The pressure plate is remanufactured with a heat treated diaphragm and double straps. This set is designed for autocross or road racing, with over 30% increased friction and clamping power without increasing pedal effort

I had bought a new spec clutch - I had issues because the pressure plate put too much pressure on my thrust washers and wore them out. Any fear of that here? - or is the force on the thrust washers close to the same when you depress clutch?

These pressure plates have increased clamping power but the pedal effort is the same. The disc/pressure plate set is $395

Insufficient freeplay will cause that, or holding the clutch in when stopped for a period of time. I always run plenty of freeplay, a spring on the throwout arm on the gearbox, and gearbox in neutral with foot off the clutch when stopped at the lights.
