1969 124 Spider Interior Rear View Mirror

How is it mounted? It appears to be glued on as I can't see any screws. I'd like to replace it since the glass is foggy and the lever on the bottom is broken.

If it's like my 1980 (which I think it is) it is a ball and socket type connection that requires some force to remove and install.
It will be a little unnerving but you can apply force to the whole assembly pushing the assembly toward the back of the car away from the windshield.
It should "pop" off.
Re-install be applying substantial force to the casting on both sides and it will pop back on in place.
I've done it on mine twice in the last couple of years. No problem.
