Carb replacement options

Post by Jmsossi »

I have a 69 spyder with 1438 cc. Engine and was thinking of replacing my carb as the acc pump is not working, idle adjustment does not work, and vac secondary is not working right. What would be my best options to replace it with ? This is a stock engine and would like to keep it this way. Thanks

The Weber 32/36DFEV and it's EMPI variant will bolt right on and you can even use your stock air cleaner.
The only major difference is that is has an electric choke versus the manual choke. You could run a fused wire from the positive side of the coil to power the choke.
