Hi All,
I just moved to Victoria from Vancouver and am at a bit of a loss for FIAT support.
Anyone have any recommendations for the following:
1. FIAT friendly garage. I do most of my own work but it is always nice to have support.
2. Machine shop with some FIAT experience. I will need a new engine and thought it would be fun to build my own. Machine work will be outsourced.
3. Exhaust shop for some help with sealing up my existing, non rusted exhaust system.
4. FIAT hoarders. I am always in need of a few parts here and there. Anyone in the are with a few parts cars?
5. Euro car people in general. Any events for the sports car crowd?
Thanks in advance,
Jordan

There was a fellow selling parts on Used Victoria a few years back.
As for garages....no idea in Victoria. Parts.... there are several wrecking yards on the Malahat, they might have something time to time. Otherwise parts from the US vendors via the POSTAL service.
Launie G is in Duncan area. There was a car on Saltspring. Was one for sale in Nanaimo a while back.
Lots of VW and Subaru in the Victoria area though...

Hi Jim,
We are not too far away in Oak Bay. Can you suggest a machine shop?
Hi Chris,
Yes, I have been watching Used Victoria and placed an ad looking for contacts.
I see a 74 or sale on Saltspring that says it comes with parts. Like the early car although it appears to have been left outside for a while.....
Will have to explore the wreckers on the Malahat, great excuse for an adventure.
Cheers,
Jordan

It depends on what you need done.
I just pulled my engine and trans last winter and had a bit of machine work done at JB Precision. They are very reputable.
For parts I would definitely recommend AutoRicambi. I also had to special order some parts from Europe because very few folks even know what a Volumex is on this continent, let alone stock parts for them.

Thanks. I will reach out to JB Precision when the time comes. I am looking for basic machine services to refresh a block and head.
My Christmas list this year is all from AutoRicambi!
A volumex, nice! The Holy Grail of spiders!
Do you have a source for Na valves by any chance? The factory ones are very expensive.
