34 adf on 1800 manifold Help

1979 Fiat Spider. Hi I just received my 1800 intake from Autoricambi. I know that I have to remove the 2000 intake and the emissions stuff, and bolt on the 34 adf carb on the 1800. That's easy. My question is what kind of issues I will run into as far the vacuum advance, and carb idle and mixture. I mean, is it just a straight bolt on, turn the key and off I go or do I have to do something else to make it work right? Thanks

First question...
Where did you get the carb?
That will make all the difference as to how much you have to do to it. In other words, did you buy it freshly rebuilt from a mechanic who was prepping it for a fiat spider with the same basic engine specs as yours? If not, you should assume that some adjustment will be required.

Some do, some don't. I have one without it. I plan to just swap out the ignition with one of marks units with a mechanical advance. Problem solved but will cost you. The other option is to drill the port yourself. I've seen some instructions on how to do this doesn't seem to be a difficult process.
