carburetor tuning
My '77 Fiat 124 Spider's idle is inconsistent. Sometimes when I pull to a stop, it will idle at 2000 to 2500 rpm, another time at 1000, and often it drops to zero and stalls out. Any ideas why and how to correct?

Check for vacuum leaks. Hoses, gaskets, warped carburetor base, leaking throttle shaft seals, etc etc.
