back to original diustributer issues

going back to original distributer after computronix seemed easy enough not many wires to do easy to follow wiring diagram in book , car fired up i reved a bit sounded great let run for a couple minutes at idle timed distributer with timing light then tunred off. came back later on car wouldnt start but would cough back up through the carbs . checked engine timing and ignition timing i have 4 old modules and 3 coils mix and matched back and forth same issues occured, then one mix and match ,turn car fired up perfect idled fine reved it a bit then it cut out again aftewr about 4 minutes wouldnt restart. i did all checks form manual for coil prmiary and secondary both coils to specs, any test in manual the engine section for ignition components i have done, module , coil ground check , car wil not start. i have spark to distributer and check with spark plug that every spark lead sparks and seems to not be missing on revolutuons , timing cannot be wrong becuase when car fires it runs perfect for as long as it does before cutting out , spark is strong i haev 45 webbers that feed fuel fine , 190 compression per cylinder,distributer is light timed what am i missing here any help would be greatly appreciated

i want to drive the car until i can figure out what computronix kit needs and if it can be fixed if i get my points and distributer ignition working again i can enjoy it thanks all
