I have the stock 32 ADFA on my 1978. Just getting in to scrapping the emissions system, and I noticed that my primary idle jet is unplugged.
It seems to run just fine, with the exception of mildly difficult startup in the morning and one or two backfires throughout the day when taking off in first or after shifting too early.
Thoughts?
Weber 32 ADFA Question
Re: Weber 32 ADFA Question
Hmm, pirmary idle jet??? Do you mean your idle shut-off solenoid??
If so, does idle mix screw affect idle when turned in and out??

Re: Weber 32 ADFA Question
Apologies! Yes, the shut off solenoid. The mix screw does affect the idle. When turned clockwise, the idle drops to a lower RPM and tries to die. I don't hear a huge difference when turning it counterclockwise.majicwrench wrote:Hmm, pirmary idle jet??? Do you mean your idle shut-off solenoid??
