ok... call me a purist but this is a bit over the top
Re: ok... call me a purist but this is a bit over the top
there's a case of a little paint and a spoiler going further and faster than the car ever will.
it still has the original 28/32 carburetor.

Re: ok... call me a purist but this is a bit over the top
Someone please tell me that those are FAKE SIDE EXIT PIPES.... gawd. that's the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen....
Re: ok... call me a purist but this is a bit over the top
I know what you mean...can you believe the guy put a "tan" convertible top on his Spider? It takes all kinds.

I can't believe you all are talking about my car that way! I worked hard to get it to look like that.
Ok, j/k, it's not mine.
I saw that listing earlier too and thought, WHY?
I'm looking to buy a cheap Fiat, but I don't think I would spend the money on that one.

Well, I like the seats... are those from a CRX?
Aerofoil?... No!
Flames?.... No!
Little cheap stick on sidepipes?... Heck no!
Are those blackout hoods over the headlights?... Madness! but kinda interesting...
The rims, are those rims, or really fancy hubcaps on steel rims?
I'm confused, scared and feeling kinda violated!

Everything you guys are saying may be true, but what you're missing is the one thing that will make this car worth whatever, the car has a God engine! Anybody know who built it? Croft? Artigue? Allison? Logan? I live 70 miles from this car, I gotta go see a God engine.

Say what you mean, and mean what you say.....
"I BOUGHT IT FROM A JUNKYARD BUT IT WAS NEVER CRASHED." = Something from the junk yard was brought home, polished up and now looks worse than before, but at least it was never crashed.
"IT NEEDS A LITTLE BIT OF MAINTANCE" = 95% of which is removing the wing, flames, and rims.
"THE BUYER IS IN CHARGE OF PICKING IT UP" = The owner is tired of being laughed at while driving it
IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONG JUST ASK..... Do we dare??
I think I'd be funny (but cruel) if over the cource of the next few days we all seperatly asked the seller the same question.
Will you sell the spoiler/wind seperatly ?

didn't even have the decency to debadge the little f next to those boss fake outlets.
Re: ok... call me a purist but this is a bit over the top
Actually... if I lived in CA. I'd pick this little baby up, remove the offensive items and install some Arbarth bumpers and a decent interior, do a little work on the engine and it might be as good or better than some of the cars I've seen posted here.
For $1000.... yeah!

Those rims were designed by Klingons.

I can't believe that car is in Cali, that thing screams Miami! Funny thing is I've seen several similar to that one down there. I love them, they bring a smile to your face even when your stuck in traffic............
Re: ok... call me a purist but this is a bit over the top
Yeah.. cars like that are seen everywhere.. we have some here that are Honda Civics, Mustangs, etc. and you can't help but chuckle when you see them drive by.....Gunsmith wrote:I can't believe that car is in Cali, that thing screams Miami! boy, you guys are brutal! No one even mentioned the auto trans. What a car to pick up for your wife/girlfriend. When it brings 15k maybe every one here will be copying it
