I'm putting my Fiat 124 together again after painting it and have a question...
Does the upper grill surround (hood lip) have a rubber gasket like the rest of the lower surround?

And if it does, does anyone have that rubber gasket?

To answer your question yes there is a gasket between the upper trim and the hood. However, the trim piece is not chrome it's stainless steel the same as the lower grill trim and therefore they can be polished quite easily to a very high gloss.

that is a very specific gasket... i've not noticed such a thing at the vendors, but I predict you can make it out of something you find at lowes. Time to get creative.
