egr valve location
Re: egr valve location
I konw where the thermovalve for the EGR system is on a '75-78. Check my thread, halfway down the first page:

This is on the "backside" of the intake manifold, between the carb and the engine. Takes a 24mm socket to remove.
However, not sure this is what your looking for. This could be the actuator for the EGR valve. I'm going to guess you have an '82 based on the user name. Can't say I know much about them except for the one I stripped last year for parts. Someone much more knowledgeable than me will weigh in soon I'm sure.

I have a 1984 pininfarina spider that is fuel injected. Should've mentioned that. I just want to clean to help her pass smog. My nox output was slightly too high.

Re: egr valve location
It does not have one. The EGR contraption was removed when the FI system was introduced. If NOx is slightly high then make sure your idle speed is set right, your aux air regulator isn't leaking air, and your O2 sensor is working. Slightly high = minor adjustment, even changing plugs or burning a tank of super unleaded with some FI system cleaner might fix it enough to pass smog.
